The signing ceremony for the handover of a grant to support the renovation of the Parliament Building and Manua School was successfully held this morning at the High Commission of the Republic of Vanuatu.
The agreement was signed by Acting High Commissioner Sumptoh on behalf of the Vanuatu, while the Ambassador of the Indonesia signed on behalf of the Indonesian Government.The ceremony was witnessed by an official from the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Canberra, underscoring Indonesia’s continued commitment to supporting key infrastructure development initiatives in Vanuatu.
The grant, provided by the Government of Indonesia, will finance the renovation of the Parliament Building and Manua School.
Officials highlighted the strong bilateral relations between Vanuatu and Indonesia and reaffirmed their shared commitment to enhancing institutional infrastructure and promoting sustainable development.
